India Clipping Team
About the Indian Team:
They are 9 people now equivalent to 5 full time. 5 working on clipping, 3 on publishing articles for our IMP medias, 1 doing email data base for the IMP newsletter.
- They do now 60 to 70% of Mepax clipping (1600 to 2100/month the last few months, Competitor Monitoring’s included), soon 80% I hope. They handle most of the biggest files for clipping. 18 so far.
- They will soon do most of the magazines clipping.
- They publish the non-Mepax content in the IMP medias. They find 25 to 30 articles a day and they publish them.
The collaboration between the Project Leaders and the Indian Team works the best when Project Leaders exchange regularly emails with the Indian Team, ask for corrections, and have established a kind of direct relation with the members of the Indian Team working on their file.
Please always keep in mind that people doing clipping in India have never send a press release. They know only clipping. They have a limited view of what we do at Mepax. They sometimes miss things that seem very obvious to us. They are not as accustomed to this as you are.
- here is a guideline about how to work in good collaboration with the Indian Team:
- The Project Leader remains fully responsible for the quality of the clipping.
- Have a thorough check of the clippings before your customers do the monthly / trimestral,… check.
- Spend 10 to 20% of the time you used to spend on the clipping to check the work of the Indian Team.
- Check randomly (if not all) the clipping notifications you receive by mail.
- Take a quick look at the clipping list in each PF from time to time and you will see right away if some clippings do not make sense, just looking at the name of the media and the date.
- For the clipping sent by mail, randomly choose at least 20 per month and check if they are all uploaded. If 1 is missing, send a mail asking for an explanation. If more than 1 is missing, send a mail at Guillaume CLASS: class@mepax.com
- Do a random check every month from a TalkWalker report or a google search to see if some clippings are missing. If so, send me an email. Guillaume will ask them to double check the whole file.
Establish a direct relationship with the person working on your file. Reply quickly and precisely to their emails. Have a Skype with them from time to time. They are all very nice people.
